SNOW DAYS/DELAYS WILL BE REPORTED ON YOUR LOCAL TELEVISION STATIONS.

PUPIL RESPONSIBILITY: It shall be the responsibility of every student using a bus to:

  • Occupy the seat assigned by the driver.
  • Obey the driver and follow his/her instructions.
  • Be at the designated station at the scheduled time, ready to board the bus. Drivers are not required to wait if you are not ready.
  • Wait until the bus comes to a stop before attempting to get on or off.
  • Enter and leave the bus only at the front door, except in case of emergency.
  • There is to be no disruptive behavior such as fighting, lighting matches, or moving around on the bus.
  • No student shall put any part of his/her body out the window.
  • Report at once to the driver any damage to the bus that is observed.
  • Help keep the inside of the bus clean and restrain from eating or drinking liquids on the bus without driver permission.

PARENT RESPONSIBILITY: It shall be the responsibility of the parent to:

  • Ascertain that the children arrive at the bus stop on time in the morning.
  • Provide necessary protection of their children when going to and from the bus stops.
  • Accept joint responsibility with school authorities for proper conduct of their children.
  • Make a reasonable effort to understand and cooperate with those responsible for pupil transportation.
  • Appear, in person, at the Principal's office in case the pupil's transportation privilege is lost.
